Why did you join the team?

I joined the team because I ultimately want to be in racing. SAE is the best way to gain experience for graduation.

What is your favorite part about being on the team?

Seeing the car come together during manufacturing season along with the “tight-knit-ness” of the team.

What made you want to be a lead for your system / What made you want to take your position on E-Board?

I became a lead because I wanted to have a direct impact on the car that the team builds, and gain the massive experience that the role gives you. I originally joined e-board because I saw a need that had to be met. (2018 PR Director, 2019 Drivetrain)

What is your favorite car?

Favorite car is a toss-up between a Nissan GT-R R35 and a McLaren 720s.

If you could drive our race car on any track in the world, which would it be?

I’d drive the car at Virginia International Raceway (VIR).

Why do you think FSAE is important, and what would you say to people who are interested in joining?

FSAE is important cause it gives you the most hands-on experience before graduation. People who are interested in joining need to be ready to work and be committed. There’s no room for slacking, cause it’s a lot of work.
